Rates & Fees

Equipment rates (as of September 17, 2012)  

  *Industrial-plus supplies.

**All flow cytometry consumables (e.g. tubes) will be at the user's expense.

^***Leica RM2125 microtome users are responsible for providing their own slides.


User Classifications:

1. Unsupervised User - Any user who has completed and passed a practical examination on proper usage of equipment.
2. Internal User - Any University of Delaware associated student, staff or faculty member who will be using the EM facility of the facilities technical staff resources.
3. External user - Any outside university who will be using the facility technical staff or equipment to perform the work will be charged an intermediate rate.
4. Industrial User - Any user who does not meet the Internal User or External User criterion. Generally this includes industrial or non-collaborative university projects.

Supplies:
Tubes, general laboratory supplies and computer storage media will be the responsibility of the user. This includes, but is not limited to, film, prints, computer disks/media, fluorescent beads, antibodies, etc. If a user fails to provide these, an additional supply charge may apply.
